Weighing in on accomplishing our goals!

Fran Prisco, long time employee of Bird-B-Gone, Inc. set out on a “Weighty” journey in January of 2007. She was determined to loose the weight she had steadily gained over the last 20 years. Her goal was to be back to a healthy weight so that she could enjoy all of the things she once did, hiking, bicycling, motorbike riding, camping and lots of traveling! On January 31, 2007 she had gastric bypass surgery, a procedure that bypasses a portion of the small intestine and makes the stomach smaller to aid in weight loss. It was a life-changing ordeal. She had to learn to eat all over again. But it was well worth the challenge. In the past year she has lost 117 pounds and has gone from a size 26 to a size 6! It has not been an easy road and it will continue to be a challenge the rest of her life, but the goal of physical freedom, good health and a longer life is well worth it! We at Bird-B-Gone have supported Fran every step of the way and are very proud of what she has accomplished.
