Flash Tape is a visual bird deterrent made from an iridescent red foil mylar “tape” used to scare birds away from outdoor areas

Effective For: Flash Tape can be used for all species of pest birds. Applications: Flash Tape is ideal for outdoor areas where bird have become a problem including: •    Trees / Fruit Trees •    Grape vines •    Vegetable gardens •    Balconies Description: Flash Tape is a visual deterrent made from an iridescent red mylar film. Flash Tape comes in a roll of 150 feet by two inches wide. You simply tie strips of Flash Tape to areas where birds have become a problem, and the wind and sun will move and reflect off the tape creating a visual and audible distubance in the area that birds will want to avoid.

How they Work:
Flash Tape works in two ways, when birds see the shiny reflective surface, they will be confused, and frightened and want to avoid the area, when the wind picks up and moves the flash tape, birds will also be frightened by the “crinkling” sound.

Installation:
You simply cut off strips of the tape and attach them to the area where you want to deter pest birds. Each strip of tape should be at least 1-2 feet long, so that the bird can easily see the product as they approach the area. For best results, it’s important to install the bird deterrent flash tape before your edibles ripen.

The balloon is made from a weather resistant vinyl plastic, and is about the size of a standard beach ball. There is a “mock” predator eye printed around the sides of the balloon that is surrounded by a shiny reflective surface. Each Bird-B-Gone Balloon has an eyelet mounted atop for easy hanging.

Installation:
Each Bird-B-Gone Balloon comes with reflective decals, flash tape and twine. To install the Bird-B-Gone balloon, remove from package and inflate – add the decals to the center of each eye, and tie the strips of flash tape to the bottom of the balloon. You can hang the balloon using the twine provided.  You will want to hang the balloon in front of the area where pest birds are a problem. If you plan on using your Bird-B-Gone Balloon in a pool, it is recommended that you fill the balloon ¼ with water for anchoring.

Installation:
Diverters should be installed right in front of and around problem areas. Hang the diverters using twine, string or rope.  Use at least 3 foot lengths when hanging on side of home.  Alternate the lengths and space the diverters about 2 to 3 feet apart when hanging from eave areas.  Diverters can also be hung in trees, masts, spreaders, balcony covers, gazebos, and more.
