Another kind of spike that will keep pigeons away are the stainless steel spikes. They are very durable. They are made of a non-reflective metal finish and are the spikes that are most recommended by architects, government agencies and contractors. There are also girder spikes which are great for keeping pigeons and other large pest birds from landing on girders or I-beams. These typically have adjustable “C-clamps” to fit any size girder. Lastly, gutter spikes are ideal for keeping large pest birds like seagulls, crows, and pigeons from sitting on or in gutters and will stop the gutters from being dirtied up by the nesting materials and bird droppings.
