Bird Spikes

On many occasions the birds will sit in wait on the rooftop ledges. Installing a bird control device such as bird spikes will also keep birds away and keep them from landing and roosting on the rooftop. Plastic bird spikes are very effective at keeping the larger pest birds away from the unwanted area. They work by not allowing the birds to land. The plastic spikes create an uneven surface and they will fly away in search of a more comfortable location. The base of the spike strip is 1.5" wide and the spikes come in three different widths, 3", 5" and 7". The base can be secured down by either gluing, screwing or tying them down to the surface. They come in an array of colors including tan, white, black, brown, light grey, brick red and crystal clear. This helps with their invisibility factor.

All physical deterrents including the garden netting mesh and bird spikes make a very unwelcoming environment for the birds.
